I remember I was in …
I remember I was in berland with my family - it was a rainy day, not the best for a train ride, but I couldn’t say no to that engine. Anyway, about 3/4 the way to Frostburg, the end car derailed - nothing major, but the diesel helper was behind it. So I had the distinct pleasure of watching that steam behemoth pulling the train, one half at a time, into Frostburg. They were behind schedule and they were FLYING into that station. One of my fondest memories.

Joe - nothing to do …
Joe - nothing to do with train operations, everything to do with two railfans colliding & one tumbling downhill with video gear in hand - that would have been me recording a sky shot. Fortunately, there were two runbys so I lost nothing in reality - not even a bruise to report.
