    A question about the movie The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
    Why exactly was Robert Ford the coward and Jesse James was like a hero? They both shot people in the back so what is the difference?

    Jesse liked to take his mates out for a ride and then shot them from behind so shouldn’t they both be equally as cowardly?

    Jesse James had stories written about his robberies and stuff to where everyone kind of idolized him, including Robert Ford. So they called him a coward because back then everyone thought Jesse James was a hero and Ford shot him in the back only to make a name for himself. He would later go on stage around the country and re-enact his shooting of Jesse James. Everyone considered him a coward and he had to face that until the day he was shot dead at the age of 30.
