Dear Ashish!
It is possible to shine in ANY vocation, ANY job! Only condition is that you have to be the BEST in that line which you have chosen.
Do not see yourself as a security guard. Visualize yourself as one providing ‘total protection’ to the client’’s property, possessions and personnel. That way, your customers will see you as a value addition provider. Visualize yourself as the head of a security enterprise, devoted to providing security services just not to one but a host of clientele! I think you are quite young! Imagination and looking forward will take you places where you would not have dared to go!
Implement these suggestions every day, every moment.
You will realise your goals much earlier than you expected!

Try to become a policeman.
In Australia it takes less than 6 months if you’re already physically fit, and you get paid while training/learning.

The security industry is and will remain one of the most stable and growth oriented career paths despite the current downturn in (world) economy. Yes, you should provide the client with your best effort, but imagination alone will not allow you to climb the corporate ladder to a higher paying position and more responsibility. For this you will need to focus your sights on achieving those higher positions - audit/over-site investigator, security manager, executive protection agent, etc. The answer is to Train and Learn and once you have done that - continue to Train and Learn. Follow that routine with a passion and one day YOU could be advising those for who you now work.
